Donna Pierce

Donna grew up in Wyoming riding her horses and playing in the imaginary world of cowboys and Indians. She moved to Billings, Montana to attend college. Donna’s background is in finance and marketing. Most of her life has been spent writing business plans, policies, and procedures. Now she wants to write the fun “stuff.”

She is the mother of two grown children and has two little granddaughters.

Donna lives on a small farm in Weatherford with her three dogs and three horses. She enjoys making story books and art with her granddaughters and working cows with her horses. She also enjoys shooting and has been involved with a gun club. Donna has been providing weekly jail and prison ministry over the last year.

She enjoys writing because it “allows her to dwell in other worlds while creating the course of what goes on around her.” Donna is looking forward to this new path in her life and hopes that she will be able to put a smile on a few faces and also be able to take some readers down these paths with her. “Now that I am retired, I can be a kid again!”
