Connie Leonard
Connie Leonard is an accomplished novelist and active journalist. She has been a member of the Granbury Writer’s Bloc since 2002, serving as an officer for most of those 15 years.
She writes Christian fiction and devotionals and has self-published three books with a fourth book currently in draft form. Her latest Christian romance, Somebody Somewhere in Texas was released on Amazon in November 2016. Other books by Connie include, A Psalm a Day, released in 2015, and Big C, little c, released in 2014.
As a journalist, she regularly writes inspiring personal interest stories about area residents. Her articles can be found in local area magazines such as Lake Granbury Living, With You in Mind, RedFinn Publications, and EnVision Publishing.
A retired elementary school teacher, Connie shared her passion for writing with her students, encouraging many young writers. She has a Master of Arts from Midwestern State University and a degree in elementary education from Angelo State University.
Connie lives in Granbury with her husband.
