Topic: “Using Archives to Build a Better Story”
About: Jennifer is a writer and coffee enthusiast who daylights as a project manager. She serves as the Associate Director for Carrollton League of Writers and writes fantasy for young adults. She grew up in the suburbs of New Orleans and completed a Bachelor’s in English at LSU and a Master’s in Archival Science at Auburn University before settling in Dallas with her husband, two cats (Drew & Brees), and three goldfish (Harry, Hermione, and Ron).

Strange and Sweet Anthology Is Available
Announcing Strange & Sweet, Granbury Writers’ Bloc’s anthology collection of 41 short stories and 8 poems penned by 17 of its members. There is something for everyone in its 300+ pages including offerings in Mystery/Suspense/Thriller, Action/Adventure/Western, Sci-Fi/Paranormal/Fantasy, Young Adult/Women’s Fiction, Literary, Humor, Non-Fiction, and Poetry.

Proceeds will support GWB’s speaker program, which brings in authors and other writing professionals each month to teach our members and the public about writing and publishing.
Granbury Writers’ Bloc is a 501(3)(c) not-for-profit organization. AND save-the-date for our book launch party on Saturday, August 31st, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. to be held at Farina’s Winery & Café on the historic square in Granbury.
