Chuck was born September 1, 1951, which just happened to be Labor Day, in Highland Park, MI just outside of Detroit and arrived in San Antonio, Texas, about eighteen years later. compliments of the United States Air Force. He served as crew chief on F4 Phantom Fighter Bombers for two years during the Vietnam War and later became a computer operator on mainframe computers, the really big ones, for ten years. For the last thirty-four years, Chuck has run his own business, Masterkey Financial Services International.

He has written since age fourteen, writing mostly romance and inspirational poetry over the last 25-30 years. He has served as editor of Poetry Society of Texas Bulletin, and the Texas Sentinel. He has also been Treasurer of the Poets of Tarrant County for nearly a decade. Although this is his first book, he is published in magazines and religious periodicals. He has a passion for inspirational poetry and many of his works have sold individually and been included in silent auctions.

Besides writing, Chuck has sung for over 130 weddings and funerals and recently performed the Star Spangled Banner at Lone Star Park, Grand Prairie, Texas, on Veterans Day. He also enjoys singing bass in the greatest hobby on Earth, performing at various times with the Arlington Good Times Chorus and the Texas Millionaires, both members of the Barbershop Harmony Society. His greatest love, though, is singing in church choirs, quartets and for special performances as requested.
